Needs Advice for Birthday Souvenirs  | |  My baby boy is turning two on August 16,2008 and I want to create a unique souvenir for his birthday. I really dont want to buy ready made stuffs for his souvenirs. I want to do it on my own! Just a simple,unique and not so expensive souvenir for his 2nd birthday!
Can anyone help me out with this one? Many thanks!

You could also get some paint brush it on his palms and fingers and make imprints on a sheet of computer paper and place in a nice frame. Then when he gets 12 he will be amazed that his hands were so small(i did this on my grandsons toy box that his Papa made him for Christmas when he was about that age)

To give to guests, you could buy small bubble bottles and create labels with the date, his name and any other information you want to add, maybe even a picture. Place the labels on the bubble bottles for a personalized party favor for guests, and of course one for you to keep. You could also use chocolate bars or small boxes of crayons instead of bubbles.
For my son's birthdays, I am taking his picture in the same place on his birthday each year, all to go in an album so we can see how much he changes year to year. I also do his handprints from time to time, by just painting his hands and pressing them on paper. Maybe the handprints, dated along with a picture in a nice frame would be nice.
