How Many Mobile Network Providers in Your Country?  |

i am from the Philippines, one of asia's biggest number of mobile users. we have 3 big network provider in our country, the leading among the 3 is SMART Communications, which is also my internet provider, we call it SMARTBro (Smart broadband). the second is Globe Telecom, the provider of my Postpaid plan of my Mobile Phones, the third is Sun Cellular who offer unlimited call and text but not available in many areas only big cities. How about in your country?

It's more messy like this but there is more competitivity and better rates for the consumers.

We have alot of good ones though. I think the second one is Verizon. I would have to guess that Sprint/Nextel is the third leader here. I just use a prepaid Nokia phone though.

The GSM Network provider and the CDMA Technology. --> We also more mobile providers in India named, BSNL-(Bharat sanchar niham limited-the Government of india undertaken), and The Airtel, which is the national network in india, they spread all over the country, and Vodafone, they are also cover most of the sounthindian states, and some of the North india also.. Other than this, we have some other providers like AIRTEL, BPL. Spice Tele communications, they are also a mobile phone provider in some of the states in india.. --> and also we have Reliance Communications and the Tata Indicom, which is coming under the CDMA Technology, both are very popular mobile provider in our states, out of which Reliance communicaion is the nation wide mobile phone provider..

Well back to the topic, we have 3 big moble company ere the Globe, Smart and Suns Network Providers. Right now I'm using Smart bu my wife is using globe. You probably have seen Vodafoneon the footballers' jersey if you ever watch football especially the Man U. I think Vodafoneis the first one to launch mobile network. Then there is Orangewhich is my first network. And now I am using O2. I can't decide which network to stick to. I don't like switching from Orange to O2 and I don't like carrying 2 celphones. Anyway, we also got Virgin Mobile UK, 3, and T-Mobile.
