 yesterday was father's day here in the philippines..we have celebrated it through dinner we just bought a "pancit" and "itik"(duck) and ate together..it is just a very simple celebration just to let our grandfather know that he is important to us..how about you guys?

thats about the usual for us, course the day was sprinkled with calls from siblings that life in other parts of the country.

| 2. salonga (3731) | 7 months ago |  Our family celebrated it by eating our lunch in our favorite restaurant. At night, our Church made a special program for all the fathers and we held the program at Jolibee where we spent our 3 hours with all kinds of wacky games for the fathers and special awards for each fathers. Each father receives also a special gift from the Ladies and young people and special messages were delivered by each mother and a child for the father of the family. It was such a very memorable and meaningful celebration.

It may not seem like much to some people but it was a very special day for us because my husband works a lot and we never get to spend time together like that. Have a great day!
