Why does this always happen?  |

 We see it over and over again when a famous person dies usually. The TV news and talk shows and even some of the radio talk shows will trot out the experts that list all of the reasons that led up to the death. Why can't it simply be that it was the person's time to die? I believe that when it's your time no amount of effort and life-saving applications will prevent it. Do you believe this to be true? I know that in the case of accidents life-saving techniques can be very helpful, but this is different. That is why I also feel strongly that many of the tests we are urged to undergo are just a waste of time. Most of you have probably heard the one about the person who has just walked out of the doctor's office with a clean bill of health only to drop dead of a heart attack. What is your opinion?

1.  stephcjh (16167) | 7 months ago |  Yes. I believe this to be true also. A person cannot choose when it is time to go. When the lord calls us home, it is the time for us. A little baby had a clean bill of health from their doctor also and five minutes later, when it got home with its mother, it stopped breathing and died. It was one of my sisters friends baby. I think alot of people think they feel good and in a second they are gone. My dad had no clue either. We went to bed and he had a massive coronary heart attack while watching tv right after that and died instantly.

I have a blood pressure monitor that I can use at home. Yes, there are some unforseen cases, and unforseen deaths. I have no intention of trying so hard to save my life that I lose the quality of life. I want to do what I can to be healthy, though. There have been some tests I have refused. | |

| 5. julyteen (4276) | 6 months ago |  a normal person don't want to die, and if he does, his family won't. that's one of the reasons why doctors get paid with high amount and really go richer each day. no matter how poor a person is, if he got sick, he would always find money for his medication. it is a person's instinct to fight for his life and not even illness could stop him from doing so. people with serious sickness like cancer, though hopeless, will try to find way to just lengthen his life if there's no way to stop death from coming, at least he's delaying it.
