What Is A Scam Anyway?  | |  Conserning GPT/PTC/PTR and money making sites in general. I see the word Scam used very lightly and in the mylot money making community. Many times a myloter is not satisfied with a program, or it was not what they expected it to be, right away they call it a scam. The word SCAM is a very powerful word. I have seen discussions where a fellow myloter was looking for referrals to a well known/proven good paying site and someone replied that "it is a scam". As a result the original poster of the discussion never got any referrals to join under him. It turns out the accuser joined and never stayed active in the program therefore he never reached payout and never got paid, so by calling it a scam he sobotade's it for everyone else.
In my book, first of all for something to be a scam one needs to invest money into something, and then end up looseing that investment. Or if you belong to a free site and you reach payout level and they never pay you, then that might be a scam.
I would like to ask everyone who reads this to not be so quick to call something a scam. Just because a PTC or GPT site didn't work for you doesn't mean it wont work for someone else and it doesn't make it a scam.

We all have different criteria that we use to evaluate a program and it is not fair to say a site is a scam if you have not personally worked on it. You can always give a warning or mention what you have heard from third parties to back up your point.
I disagree on one thing, though. A site is not a scam even if you lose money as long as it is a legitimate investment, such as stocks. It would be a scam if you made money and then not get paid.

 Altair4 (344) | 7 months ago | Thank you! mysdianait you know me and I personaly dont care for the PTC sites but I strongly believe that too many people use the "S" word too much and without knowing what they are saying or the true meaning of the word, it's not fair to the folks trying to get referral's for true paying sites. I had once posted for referrals to join under me at the "paid incoming phone call's" site. I posted in my discussion that there is proof of payment in my blog as well as the site is for USA members only. Someone from India responded like this "this is too good to be true, it must be a scam". I didnt get any more responce's after that.
Why even respond to the discussion if he is not from the US? And all he had to do was first go to my blog and see the payment proof.
