The Romanov Prophecy by Steve Berry  | |  After reading 'The Amber Room' by Steve Berry, I was very willing to try out other books by him. I got really excited when I found a book by him called 'The Romanov Prophecy'. I've always been transfixed about the whole Romanov prhophecy and how they disappeared. Many people just now the part about Anastasia, but the whole story is really interesting, and there's just something special about this part of Russian History. This book is full of intrigues and beautiful settings in mother Russia. If you want history and action, read it. Has anyone else read this book? Do you like Russian history too? What are your guesses conserning the Romanov mystery?

| | 2.  shopgirl (2618) | 7 months ago |  I found the Russian history and Romanov family history that the author included very interesting and that is really the only reason that I didn't put the book down sooner. I felt that the plot and characters were not very challenging. I also found that I was forcing myself to read the mundane just so I wouldn't miss any of the fascinating historic details or the descriptions of the places and buildings. I really liked The Amber Room a lot better.
I think the woman who claimed to be Anastacia was in fact her, and she just blocked the murders out of her mind. It was too traumatic for her.
