Unforgivable Sins  |

 Are there sins that are truly not forgivable? Have you seen the old movie "A Time to Kill"? It was a good movie but I wonder if we do have the right to not to forgive...but they say that it is easier said than done, that it is indeed, difficult when you were the one who got hurt.

1.  chiyosan (8475) | 7 months ago |  i am not sure if i can really say i will forgive someone, or not. the thing is coming from a hurtful past, my dad left us, left nothing for us to barely live a day, but years after, when i thought i will only have nothing but grudge against him, i feel nothing of that sort anymore. i love him as my father but i guess i dont have the same level of respect for him...

2.  faith210 (6901) | 7 months ago |  Hi weng_08! Sorry, but I have not seen the movie "A Time to Kill". However, if it is about forgiving then I think it is a good movie. But then I do agree with you that sometimes, it is easier said than done. I have always tried my best to forgive all the people who have hurt me but I know that I can't sometimes forget what the pain they have caused me. I do remember the pain and the way they hurt me so that I can avoid being hurt again, they serve as reminders and lessons in life. But I have forgiven the persons who have done harm to me. Very difficult but I know nothing good will come out of dwelling in the pain and nurturing hurt and hatred inside my heart.

nice post and it shows ur thoughts. Well u r right its very hard to forgive specially when u r hurt. but its time to show ur patience, temprament.
in one book, i was reading that bravery is not that you forgive some one when u dont have power, but bravery is that u forgive someone when u have power and and u can take revenge.
So in simple if u take revenge its ur right but if u forgive then its ur kindness and greatness
