Did You Know One Of Metallicas Band Members Quit The Band?  | |  One of them left after being with them for around 2 decades. The band members said the reason was they never really took the time to know each other personally and thats why the member left. I don't think they have released another album since or I may be wrong. They could have released an album but i'm not sure. They were one of my most favorite bands growing up. Its sad to hear that one of them left.

so, it had to be James, Lars, or Kirk that quit.
I'll have to check that out on their site. I'm a big fan of them too.:)

and there is no mention there of anything like this. Jason Newsted left the band 7 years ago; he was replaced 5 years ago by Robert Trujillo.
Where have you heard someone else left? I think you must be mistaken. They just played a concert in Manchester Tennessee this month, and there is nothing on the web about it. Their new album is just getting ready to be released.
I think you have just realized that Jason left the band, and that was 7 years ago; old newa, my friend.

Jason is the one i'm talking about that left but I heard about him leaving the band way after it happened on some type of documentry. The documentry apparently was not new. This was a few years ago but not 7 years. I had not heard of them making a new album in a while since I heard about Jason leaving. I just now recently heard about their new album in some advertisments though. You all probably know alot more about this stuff than I do. Its great to see them with a new album release though. I liked Metallica at a time when I didn't particularly like many bands at all way back. | |
