There's a vegetable called bittergourd which is found here in my country. I've heard that some people make juice out of it and add some lime and drink it on an empty stomach. I'm not sure how much of the juice or lime is taken. But I did find a site that gives some home remedies. Here's the link.

Hi, I've suffered with it for over 20 years and have found that medical solutions work best (after trying lots of home remedies). It takes a long time if it is severe and covering a lot of your body.
Moisturising the affected areas helps a lot. I use emulsifying cream and aqauous cream, spellings probably wrong, but they can be bough over the counter, at least here in Ireland and I assume everywhere.
