Growing veg

It kind of depends on where you live and how much sun you have, but I have always had good luck with tomatoes. Just make sure your garden is in a sunny location. In the fall or
an easy cool weather thing to plant is leaf lettuce.

Do you like brussel sprouts? They are super easy to grow. Jade Cross is very drought and heat tolerant if that is a concern.
In fact most plants in the cabbage family are easy to grow. Cauliflower you have to be careful to make sure you get the self blanching kind or you have to cover the heads with the leaves so they don't turn brown.
Peppers are easy too. Just as easy as tomatoes.
Cabbage family plants and tomatoes and peppers are good to plant next to each other. Cabbage butterflies like cabbage plants and tomato and pepper plants put off smell that the butterflies don't like.
Green beans are pretty easy too.

Green beans are very easy to grow. I have never failed to have a huge crop of them. You don't need a lot of plants to get a decent supply of them nor do they take up a lot of space.
