lost in my own neighborhood?!?!?

alright i messed up! and when i say messed up i mean really, really messed up! first thing i do not have a car yet so im still walking everywhere.I live in Essex county, new jersey. e.o. to be exact so i planed a round trip to my friend's house in o. I've been to that area many times and i've never remotely got lost but i was really hungry, Mistake#1 i spent my bus fare on a meal at Dunkin Doughnuts. after i ate i continued my walk to my friend's house but Mistake#2 i left my house keys at d.d.. so i went back to get them surprisingly they where still there.Mistake#3 there was allot of noise down the street,it was a football game,so i went and watch it. after it ended i started my trip again Mistake#4 i made a wrong turn into a place i never been to...so by now I'm
A)broke
B)sticky (from the doughnuts)
C)in west orange (way of course)
D)lost
E)and its dark (hence the football game)
Mistake#5 I KEEP GOING so now im really, really, lost and in south orange.by now im just plain mad,so i swallow my pride and ask for directions back home Mistake#6 i asked a guy from Canada which in retrospect wasn't a good idea in the first place he gave me directions into new york Mistake#7 I F****** followed them by now in currently in new york at a local Starbucks with my labtop on typing about my amazing journey now i must have cousin pick me up (hopefully they let me use their phone)
so i was wondering has anyone ever got "this" lost before because i feel really stupid now
