What is soccer's appeal elsewhere and with different ages?  | |  I'm from the West Coast and in college and the Euro Cup has been pretty big the last couple days. Everyone at my school was watching it before we left for summer.
But I came home and there was nothing in the paper about the Euro Cup except for the scores in the very back. I know that obviously the US is not in Europe but the best of the EuroCup is going to be our biggest competition in the World Cup in two years.
Is soccer becoming super popular with people my age and younger and still not popular with those older? Is it popular in other regions around the US besides the West Coast?

Its kinda weird but deal with it man. I think older people like it too, but newspaper writers dont maybe. Yh it can be a fact that West Coast may be different in terms of newspaper.
