 Ok not really but I do hate when its not working right. Saturday night my modem went bad now it is new and we think someone got it wet but we didnt tell them that. So they sent a new modem but alas I had to wait to get it till today as it was the weekend and they ship 2 day. So wow now I got some catch up to do. But thankfully I am back to the world of Mylot which I missed oh so much. Its like an adiiction I was having withdrawls.
So what did I miss while away?

| 6. plunketear (646) | 7 months ago |  Minnie, if your modem is connected to phone lines, I have found they are very sensitive to being blown out by electrical storms, which I think many of us have had a lot of lately. Laptop modems are really weak. I have had 4 go inside of 2 years and that was even with using a surge protected line. One time I heard the storm and lightning crashes were over 20 miles away and it still blew it out.
So consider unplugging the phone line to it when you hear a storm and at nights when you're not using PC and the wx man says it might storm.
