Do you answer a call in the middle of the night?

I have a phone right on the back of my bed.
I normally check the caller ID to see who is calling before I answer the phone, but if it rings when I am sleeping, I pick it up automatically like it is an alarm clock, without thinking, just to make it shut up!
I hate that.

If my phone rings at night I am quicker to answer than during the day. Nobody calls me at night so when it rings I figure it is important. I don't like those nighttime calls for just that reason. Nobody calls late at night with good news.

Yes it does wake me if the phone rings in the middle of the night. And yes, I answer it because if my phone rings in the middle of the night, I figure it must be something important for someone to call that late.

I have my cell phone on 24/7. This phone never gets shut off. Only time it is shut off is when I am at my other home in the country. As I don't have cell reception there. I have no point in having the phone on. I answer my phone all hours. I don't mind at all if it is 3, 4, 5 or 6 in the morning. Everyone knows that my phone is on for all reasons. If they need a ride home cause they drank too much I will go and get them. If they just need a friend to talk to. I am there as well.

If I hear it and wake up in time I do answer my phone. If it is still a reasonable time I don't mind, but if people call really late (for me, between midnight and 5am) I usually answer in a very rude way.

sometimes yes, sometimes no.. but my mom told me that i should answer the phone all the time coz we didn't know if it's an emergency.. if we just ignore it, maybe it's too late...

If I do wake up, I really try to answer it because maybe it's some important calls bu if it's not I will tell the person who's calling that I'm asleep already and I'll call her/him tomorrow. And if it didn't wake me up then I really can't answer it. But I do wake up when the phone rings, because it has loud ringing tone.

I am a very good sleeper.When I sleep I don't know what is happening around.
But even at that sleep If I came to know that there is a call I will lift it.
Who knows,an urgent call may be waiting?

If the phone rings in the middle of the night,since me and my fiance usually do not go to bed until five am or later,we always hear it,but whether I answer it depends on who it is,if it is one of my friends,or family members I will answer it,because I never know when it is going to be an emergency.

I always hesitate to answer at late night. At i may or may not wake i dont really want to answer. If it is the call from my home, surely i will answer. Sometimes i switch my phone to silent mode.
