 i don't know how many of the top chef fans out there watched the viewer's choice reunion, but i found it to be pretty interesting. way to go stephanie!!!! not only is she the first female in the history of the show to win the title of top chef, but she won fan favorite! no one has ever won both in one season, i tell you, she's pretty freakin awesome!
richard looked beyond exhausted. the bags under his eyes could be checked as a carry-on if he were boarding a plane. but i'm sure with the anticipation of his daughter arriving any day now and the opening of his second restaurant, sleep is no where in his vocabulary right now. i feel for him and wish him the best.
how awesome was it that lisa said that she's getting the evil eye on the streets?!?! i totally think that she deserved it after the way that she treated everyone on the show. you know, it amazes me that people believe that since this is a competition, they don't have to be friendly. but, how can you lead a kitchen if you don't know how to talk to other people? i even felt slightly insulted when they were showing clips from the finale, and she said that she felt that her personality and chef april's were very similar. if that's true, then i feel for the people that work for her too!
i think that it was great the relationships that people made there. it appeared that some people had truly become friends: stephanie, richard and dale; spike, andrew and mark. i'm glad that they could put the competition aside for a while and see the people that they were surrounded with for who they were outside of the kitchen.
i can't wait to see what's in store for next season!!!!

1.  Fishmomma (3418) | 7 months ago |  I'm not surprised that Richard has opened another restaurant already. He is quite talented and the show really helped him become better known in the industry. Its great to see the interesting ways he can make a dish.
Richard did look quite tired. I hope the baby is born soon. It was nice hearing Mark is now married. He sure looked great.
I am saddened to think Lisa doesn't think there was anything wrong with how she acted on the show. It appeared to me that Lisa was nice when she worked with Chef April and that was one of the few times she acted really nice. It sounded like Lisa didn't learn anything while on the show.

I think it is cool that Stephanie got it. They get $10,000 dollars for that, don't they? It would have been nice for Richard to get it since he is expecting a baby and all. I didn't know that, but I remember him teasing about going home and making little Blais's in the kid cooking challenge.
I was reading in Entertainment Weekly[/i]a list compiled by the writers of the magazine about the top ten villains in reality show history. Lisa, from this season on Top Chef was number 6! And she deserved it! I was hoping Antonia had stayed close to some of the others as well, did they say anything about that? Thanks for the recap! | |

Poor Antonia, as every time somebody was against her in the early rounds, then the other person went home. She was sitting all alone while waiting for the verdict. It was terrible knowing others wouldn't sit near her. The same thing happened last year. | |

 only1shi (309) | 7 months ago | i'm not really sure about antonia because they didn't really get into her. the judges recapped about almost all of her partners getting sent home, though. they also explained what the time card thing was about. i had seen it in an episode or two, but was never really sure what it meant. | |
