how to maintain a long distance relationship?

LOVE, TRUST, and COMMUNICATION!!! these 3 should be seen in a long distance relationship for it to last as long as it can possibly last. Gd bless those people in long distance relationship.:)

hey first of all i am warning you that, although long distance relationship looks very romantic and interesting, actually it becomes unbearable after sometime. I have involved in a long distance relationship and it really depresses me because sometimes i can't get back to her and sometimes she can't. and recently the time gap is increasing. though we still bond. Long distance relationship also call for a trust which can be easily be obtained in this world of net. So as far as possible if you have the time and emotional courage then give it a try.

I think its important for us that have a good friend. She/he will make u feel dont lonly.

I have never been into a long distance relationship but I have known some who have. Some ended. Some continued. The distance was a factor why the relationship but not quite. Because of differing opinions and miscommunication, the relationship ended. On the other hand, the relationship that continued proved that distance is not factor for breakup. They remained together despite of distance that separated them. Because of UNDERSTANDING, COMMUNICATION AND TRUST, thankfully, their relationship endured the test of distance and the love they have is getting stronger.:)

the main part i strust. there should be this ingreduient from both sides. then there should be contact. i think they should communicate with each other very frequently.
if possible meet once in a while.

It's a known fact that most long distance relationships don't work out. (I know some to disagree). Hopefully your friend will not have long periods in which she cannot see her boyfriend/ fiance/ husband.

The three main factors are as said;
Trust
Loyalty and
Love

It also helps if your friend talks to him on the phone- maybe an hour before they go to bed so they're both relaxed and they can talk about their days etc. It might also help relieve some pressure if they send emails.

But, they should try to avoid telling each other they miss each other, because the more you say you miss someone, the more you realize you actually do miss them too much.

Well, i do agreee TRUST, communication and Understanding are very important . So, do you hold any long distance relationship now? by using messenger or just an email? Have you met him/her before?

before entering in any kind of relationship,you should really know the consequences..i am also now in a long distance relationship. before i entered into this,i had already know what our realtionship would be..that we should trust, understand each other,being faithful and keeping in touch always..its hard really to be in this situation especially you are far from each other..but because love is the reason that we entered into this,we should sacrifice for the love and realtionship that we wished to end up in a lifetime.

You have to TRUST each other and the very most important thing is the COMMUNICATION you have to communicate every time so the love and the care will be always be there. Just saying a simple "How are you Today?" on email or txt msgs will be enough to overwhelm sickness and loneliness.
