 I have learned from a friend of mine (he is a professional wealth coach) that wealth does not necessarily mean that you have lots of money. What makes a person wealthy is his ability to create money in a short span of time, his resourcefulness and ability to make money out of nothing.
Considering the aforementioned points, do you consider yourself wealthy?
Do you have the ability to create or earn money (cash on hand) in a short span of time? How would you do that?
Also, if you have $10 today, is there a way for you to make this $100 or more after a week, or two, or after a month?
I am not referring to any PTC sites or PTS sites. I am referring to various ways to come up with a real cash on hand.
Personally, I can make money by capitalizing or reselling second hand items (clothes, bags and shoes, books, etc.) and recyclable materials (newspapers, empty cans and bottles, etc.). I believe that I can earn in after one hour of doing this. I can lend the money that I can earn from here to any person needing immediate cash at the legal interest of 5% in a month. This way I can make the money grow, slowly but surely. Or instead of lending it, I can use the money to cook some of my specialty recipes and sell it to my neighbors or friends for me to earn extra in just a day... I have done all of these already and they worked well for me. Believe it or not, some of these ways to earn have been utilized by me since I was as young as 7 years old!

Used to asked my mom to buy pack of candies and I will sell it to my classmates...It stopped when I was in High School and used to do it again in my College years, My friend and I will cook some milk candy,cheese stick and food, then sell it to roommates and classmates. I have tried also selling my old clothes as well as lending money with little interest..I love the idea but now, I stopped it...I have few friends here and maybe when I will be able to establish, I'll do that again..Great topic!

I am not wealthy. I'm very comfortable financially. My husband does well. He makes all the investments. I wouldn't know where to start to earn a nice amount in a week's time starting with $10.00 as you mentioned. I did make a couple of loans to friends, no interest, and was really taken to the cleaners. Still trying to recover the most recent loan. Pretty much ruined a friendship. I will never do this again and learned from this experience. Sometimes it doesn't pay to help a friend!
I work away from home approximately 2 days a week. My paychecks are placed in an interest bearing account and never touched. Just a way to have a backup plan in case of an emergency.

CelticSoulSister (342) | 7 months ago |  I'm certainly not wealthy money-wise, but I feel I am extremely wealthy inside of my head in the way that I can appreciate the things I enjoy, such as sunshine, nature, animals, music - all sorts. I have (now in middle age) a head full of memories from my quite colourful past......admittedly not all good memories, but they are still part of a very rich package. I don't feel as though I could want for any more really.

I think selling on ebay is a way to get money that poses no risk but if you are talking about lending people money or gambling that has an element of risk. I ususally put money in a bank account so that it grows that way or I invest it in a cd or mutual fund.

But I don’t agree to ‘what makes a person wealthy is his ability to create money in a short span of time, his resourcefulness and ability to make money out of nothing.’ One can never make money out of nothing; he/she can become wealthy in a short time by dishonest and mean ways, which goes away with interest at the end. I have experienced this many times.
Yes I am wealthy, but my real wealth is my family both at home and around the globe. I can’t earn money in a short time, but earn in various ways that my talents can provide.
It is nice that you can make money by capitalizing or reselling second hand items and recyclable materials and lending money to needy friends. But tell me one thing, is this interest of 5% in a month legal in Australia? Here it is 1 to 2% only.

there is no out-of-pocket costs involved. In third world countries
like ours junk shops or recycling shops are very popular. In the
Philippines, some families really make good money out of empty
softdrink cans, bottles, plastic materials which they just collect
from the garbage areas or got free from their relatives and friends.
Some buy these for a very minimal amount/ few cents. So basically,
those who just collect them and sell them to junk shops make money
by capitalizing with their hardwork, time and determination to
earn for their family. This is very common in your country too.
The 5% legal interest in the Philippines is legal as long as the
parties involved have mutually agreed on it. Here in Australia, I
don't know what's the legal interest when it comes to lending. I
only do financing/lending business in the Philippines. Although
I put down the interest to 3% - 2% to those clients who have already
built a good lender-borrower relationship with me.
Surely, our families, relatives, friends and loved ones will always
be our wealth, regardless of whether or not we have lots of money
or none.

In view of your description I am not so wealthy. I can not make the money I have increased by a short span of time. If I have $10 today, I could save this for tomorrow, can put under some deposite scheme and make it increased. But not through Business. I don't have the flair and confidence to capitalize the money I have though I wish I have that flair. | |

I've seen all types of photos and the sites where I'd seen them would say something like "pay for printing the pictures". I believe it was Yahoo! photos from where I saw that familiar phrase.
