oil well in your backyard  |

 Does anyone here every wish that you had your own personal oilwell in your backyard. I read about a guy who hired a rig companie to come in and drill a well on his property and it actually produces oil. It only produces about 5-10 barrels a day, but in todays economy thats pretty good. Now he can afford for the well he put up and the cost of gas. Would any of you go this route if you had the resources and why.

| 1. imagenius128 (45) | 7 months ago |  My dad is an accountant and one of his clients who lives in Texas discovered oil on his property. Now there is a company who pays him like $800,000 a year to drill the oil. Not bad, I'd say.
If I knew I had an oil well in my backyard, then I probably would because it would almost certainly pay for my gas and almost anything else I wanted.

2.  julyteen (4276) | 5 months ago |  how i wish to have my own oil well behind or at the back of my house. we have oil shortage or oil crisis now and all countries suffer from this shortage except middle east who are the main producer of oil. i hope time will come that all of us can dig our own oil well beside our home.

| 3. cil2008 (943) | 5 months ago |  how i wish i have my own source of oil in my backyard..., but i know that is impossible that i know of and if i hae oil i know for sure that is out cooking oil that i smell lol just kidding but really i love to have oil in my place so that i will get rich and get some people a job.

4.  missybal (3512) | 5 months ago |  My grandmother owns a part in an oil well. It's actually something that's been passed down the family. Use to only give her a check for $40 a month... profits were split up amoung 16 different owners. Now she gets a $400-$600 check a month. She says there is oil on her property that she was trying to decide wheather to drill or not. I don't think she'll do it but I'm sure someone will someday. The need for oil will not disappear any time soon.
