Are you going green?

I'm not sure if this is going green but I think it might help and that is now I only buy fresh food (meat, fruit and vegetables). I figured that without all the processing my food must take less energy to produce.

I also found it is a lot cheaper to eat that way. I go to the market everyday (by walking) and but whatever I want for that day. The closest thing I now get to processed food is bread that I buy.

No more instant meals, pre-prepared meals or pre-prepared ingredients. Although when I am travelling I have to eat that way sometimes but even then you can buy fresh.

I feel great, sleep better, am more productive at work and the bank balance is improving.

I don't really try to be green, but I am sort of I suppose. I recycle anything I can. Plus I'm vegan, so that helps the environment.

I can't make the light bulb switch due to visual problems though and because I have pets, I have to leave the air conditioning on all day. But I'd say I probably do more than most people for the environment.

I make an effort to do what I can to help the environment. I purchased recycled reusable bags for my grocery shopping that I faithfully use every week. I also stopped buying bottled water and only use a Brita water filter for my drinking water. I am becoming more interested in "going green" and have found myself looking for more and more information on the web.
