Which is better, homemade cakes or commercial cakes?

I love homemade cakes for the simple reason that making them is part of the fun. I love baking aswell as cooking so much, that i enjoy making my own cakes and they taste delicious. It could almoust be my dream job, but i have asthma so its not really possible. Commercial cakes are good too, but they are often too fancy for my taste, but of course there are many types of them and many are simple too, but also they cost much more than making your own cake.

Well commercial cakes are good but I like my mother's cakes. She makes Dominican Cakes and they taste so good and the good thing is that when she finished making the icing I get to lick the spoon because i'm the one that washes the untensils used. My mother can make really beautiful cakes.

For me, cake is cake. I love all kinds of cake, home made or commercially made. It's really one of those things that don't make much of a difference to me. But, when someone makes a home made cake, you know it's special because they put their time and effort into it even if it's a store bought mix. I even liked those cakes that you make it the cardboard pan and all came in one box.

All homemade foods and bakery taste best

I used to be biased with commercial cakes, that is, I prefer them over homemade cakes because of the quality and taste. Since it is for commercial consumption, everything is measured and quality control is assured.

When I was gifted with a homemade cake, that completely changed my view. My friends had it specially done by someone who loves to bake cakes. The quality and taste is comparable, even better, I should say with commercial cakes. Though my friends still paid for the cake - which makes it in a way commercial, the cake tasted differently and had homemade written all over it.

I think homemade cakes are better. I like making my own so I know exactly what's in it and I can make it healthier...without processed sweeteners and artificial ingredients like most commercial cakes. Homemade just tastes better to me too...fresher and not overly sweet

Nowadays, Commercial cakes are so popular with their variety in appearance, flavor etc. Pictures of commercial cakes that are published in magazines and other media are so fascinating that anyone would lick their lips. Commercial cakes are more attractive to kids as the commercial cakes exhibit a wide range of colors through their favorite cartoon or television characters.
But I like homemade cakes with their delicious homely taste and special odor. Homemade cakes are also more reliable when it comes to health matters.
For instance, one does not know the ingredients used in making commercial cakes.It may include artificial flavors,colors,preservatives etc. But on the other hand, homemade cakes are always promising about their nutritional content.
Its not just about the absence of unwanted substances,but they are also rich in other nutrients.
The commercial cakes are mainly made with the profit of the companies in mind. However attractive and delicious the cakes may look, they rarely give the consumer the feeling of satisfaction. Meanwhile,homemade cakes are baked with the essence of love that anyone who tastes it can feel it.

For me. anything is ok .because i like all kinds of cakes.commercial cakes is convenienxe but it is too usual to eat them. homemade cake can make me feel happy.and we will be fun to eat ourself's harvest.cake is cake.all of them are good
