Anorexia

Researchers are finding out more and more about this disorder all the time. There are actually a lot of physiological reasons for this and not just the desire to lose weight. Some health conditions can initiate anorexia. People who have various metabolic problems have a tendency towards anorexia because of the fact that they have a hard time metabolizing a lot of foods. Not eating or avoiding food to begin with because of these problems can bring out a bout of it. I have a metabolic problem and I have a tendency to get a little anorexic if I restrict my food for too long.

i have heard of such a disease. it often happens to those who wish to lose weight by controlling food. at the beginning, they may have to control themselves from eating but after a certain period of time, they don't have any desire to eat anything. i don't have such a person around me but i have seen such persons on newspapers. they look skinny and trrrible.

While growing there was always a show about this disease. It was a scare among teenagers in the 1980's earlier 90's. There were always young girls who wanted to become a model and because of this they will eat the food and then go in the bathroom to bring it back up. I used to enjoyed watching those shows because I grew fat and whenever kids tease me about my fatness I used to tell them that they were suffering from this disease until one day my mother told me that I can fat and have it too. Because I don't eat alot of food mostly drinking. It is a addiction and I would advice young adults to eat and not starve themselves.

Having an eating disorders prevent one from having a well balanced meal. It is very good to have this because when you do then your body will be able to function in the right and proper way. I am so glad that we were able to be educated about it and it is not as popular as it is used to.
