I would walk 5000 miles......would you?

i would...if it would mean that it is something that my friend needs....walking several thousand miles is not a big deal...of course, resting every few hundred miles wouldn't hurt LOL

I have a very close friend I would do anything for.She has always been a kind and loyal friend to me.In the past I was able to help her a lot when she had an out of control teenager.Now that teenager is 24 and in the past few months she has gone downhill again.She is strung out on some kind of drugs,we aren't sure what.She is not the same kid at all,she was doing well for awhile.She started going out with a guy that was into drugs.Now he is gone,who knows where and we can't get her to see that she needs rehabilitation.She says she is taking some kind of pill for withdrawals,but we know better.She is literally crawling out of her skin,itching all over,and can't sit still,not making any sense when she talks.The rehab place we called said we can't make her go.The only thing we can do is call an ambulance and they can I guess make her go to an emergency room and maybe they can put her in a locked up facility while she withdraws.

Yes I have a couple of friends that I would do anything for. They did something for me with no string attached, only because they were friends and cared for me. It is like giving me a second chance in life.
