Determination

The will power is not prerogative of women. I feel the man who is ambitious and the man who has been pushed to the wall, man who has undergone the worst time in his life, the determination they make is stronger than the power of bullet. Whether it is small or big, they achieve things because of what they have experienced and they did not want to go back to that situation again.

well, i've not observe so much about the statistics of female and male in determining how each is determined. however, i think women easily give up than men. according to my own observation most girls give up when they're not successful at the first time of trying something. especially in education.

I think it just depends on the person. I have met more women with that drive over men. I'm not here to cut men down, I have 4 living brothers and 3 out of the 4 are very determined. I honestly think it has some to do with your raising.
IMO, People as a whole don't have that drive and determination as they did 20-30 plus years ago. I have a few nieces that get on my nerves!!! They just stress and wont push through things I think is minor. I really think it's because their mom was that way.
I'm more of a determined person than my husband, but he too has a very strong will, but it all falls back on his parents. Both of his parents are strong willed to a point and that is how he is, but his brothers don't have that drive. Well, There is 6 boys. 3 are his mom's & dad's and the other 3 from another lady. The oldest of the last 3 are more determined than the other 2 or even the older 2 of the 1st bunch, but he still is not as determined as my husband.

I think women and men both are strong willed. I know that me as a person I have a strong determination to do things in life. It depends on what the issue is, alot of people are driven by inner reasons to be so passionate about things.

Statistics may say that women are more determined and strong willed than men, but it is not a fact that applies to all circumstances. It depends on the circumstance with which people are faced with, and therefore accordingly i feel that this question has no concrete answer.

Well, Girls have more issues to face in life (more so than guys).
I guess it has something to do with the upbringing too. Boys are usually more pampered as many societies see boys as being more important. Girls, on the other hand, are expected to help out in the family more since a young age.
