 I was a fan of david cook when Michael Johns and Carley Smithson got out. I did not like David Archuleta so much because he was so fake! When Ryan says he is safe he pretends that he thought that he was in the bottom 3 or 2 when it was so clear that he was safe! Before i liked him because he was not fake before but a little long i didn't like him so much.

2.  tthom64 (254) | 4 months ago |  Well, as the contest goes on and you see shock eliminations like Michael Johns, I really don't think any of the contestents believe they are safe. Daughtry probably thought he was safe, too, like everyone else that night, but boom, he goes home. I liked both Davids but I think Archuleta was under a lot of pressure for a 17 year old. I think he just looked tremedously relieved.

| 3. LilyoftheThorns (3282) | 4 months ago |  I don't think David A. was fake at all. He was ALWAYS a nervous guy lol. Whenever he is talking with Ryan, or getting judged...anything other than singing you could see how nervous he was. And I think he was such a genuinly nice, sweet kid.
Both David's had talent, but I was hoping Archuletta would win. But congratulations to Cook!
