Any ideas on how to make extra money as a writer?

there are a ton of writing jobs out there, the thing is that most of them dont really pay a whole lot but if you are interested, i would google something like 'writers wanted' and go from there. best of luck!

I sugggest you to join Triond and Helium. Both of the sites are offering writer to write and make money.

If you are from US/Canada, then you can use Associated Contents. Associated Contents are good site to make money.

Hi. I earn money from writing articles and reviews and submitting them to Helium, Triond and Shared Reviews. They don't pay a fee but I do get a share of the advertising revenue for each time my articles are read, and I get a small monthly income from doing this.

At Helium you can write for the marketplace and be paid up to $60 if your article is accepted by a publisher. You can also win money prizes in free writing contests there.

You can find these sites from any search engine. You should also look at Associated Content and Constant Content.

I also earn money from writing website content. You can find jobs advertised at freelance writing sites and in webmaster forums.

I write both for Helium and Ground report.
In my opinion,ground report is the best one.
They have no stupid minimum payout and will always pay you

You can always join one of the revenue sharing sites (you have a few listed on this discussion already). Triond, Helium, Associated Content are the ones I think I saw. There are really lots of places where you can write articles or opinion pieces and make money for it. You could also join a freelance site and get jobs that way. You will make more money freelancing, but you have more freedom writing articles online and making money from sites.

I am also a memeber of Helium but you have to write alot of articles to earn unless your articles get selected from marketplace where magazines and other publishers post article content they want.

Other sites you can try are www.academia-research.com They give you specific assignments, more academic type writing and pay for it. Also try www.allwriting.net,, they have a variety of articles they require, academic, journalistic etc.

Freelance website you can try is www.elance.com check out the writing area. All writing jobs are posted whcih you tyhen have to bid for.

Try self publishing through cafepress and maybe media sites like associated content.Hope this helps!
