If Soran is like "He who must not be named" (Potter) it makes sense that he would find his way back into the realm of men. So there is your start. Now I want to know what happens to Sam's kids. It look like they were a boy and girl hobbit. Maybe they could discover Saron plans. And what of the King and his Elf bride. Could their child turn into a super Elf. Well its one angle anyway.
