Frustrated at friends who dont listen back!  | |  Hey! I consider myself a very good listener and really focus and what my friends are telling me and how they are feeling about it. But I seem to have a couple of friends who constantly cut me off in the middle of my sentences to start talking about themselves again!! It is so hurtful! I have even confronted one about it and it worked for a little bit but soon was right back to not having any interest in me....any advice?

| | | | | | | | 1.  cookie1971 (1195) | 4 months ago |  I do have one friend like that. We have been friends for 15 years. It has been only recently in the last couple of years that she hasn't been listening to me.
I know this through a conversation that I was going to have with her. She ended up walking off and start chatting to someone else for longer. So I ended up leaving and going home. Didn't worry about continuing the conversation with her.
That did frustrate me when she walked off but the good thing is that I know I have other friends that I can really talk to.
