 In Malaysia, our currency is called MALAYSIA RINGGIT.( RM ).
They are in RM1, RM2, RM5, RM10, RM50, RM100, and RM500.
Previously, we had RM1000, but it was abolished.
And the small change, we have coins in sen. We have 1sen, 5 sen, 10 sen, 20 sen, 50 sen. $1. But $1 and 1 sen has been abolished.

We change in 1966, before that we had Pounds, shillimhs and pence.

six pence (zac)
one shilling (= 12 pence)(bob or deena)
two shillings (=24 pence)(two bob)
10 shillings (note)(orange in colour)
one pound (note= 2x 10 shillings)(green in colour)(quid)
Five pound note (blue in colour)
ten pound note (red in colour) refered to as a BRICK.

Our coins are the penney which is worth 1 cent, nickel 5 cents, dime 10 cents, quarter 25 cents, half dollar 50 cents. We also have a $1.00 coin and a $2.00 coin. Our paper money comes in $5.00, $10.00, $20.00, $50.00 and $100.00 bills. There was a $1000.00 bill, but the government decided to stop producing them in late 2000. There are still some in circulation. Blessings.
