I don't feel completely comfortable posting my whole name, even though it is very very common, but my first and middle name are Kristin Marie, and both my first and middle names are very common, especially in the early-middle 80's when I was born. LOL So yea, nothing special about it really, just my name.:) That being said, I don't dislike it, just saying it's ordinary, and I am not. LOL

So, you want my name? It is Sonia.. the surname is D'Costa..So, I am an Indian with a foreign name. Why, would you ask? Well, some Christian missionaries came along and converted one of my idiotic ancestors who became Christian and attached the surname of the missionary to their names, that is... D'Costa. So, what, you might ask, couldn't your parents give you an Indian name? Oh well, I really dunno.. anything Indian is looked down upon by Christians here.. gone is our beautiful culture.. our music, our gumat art, our myths, our spiritual philosophies, our religion Hinduism, and so on and so forth... everything is supposed to belong to the devil. But foreign names are not. So, here I am, an Indian with an alien name: Sonia D'Costa!!

My name is Magie. It is taken from the midwife name who helped my mom giving birth . When my mom gives me birth. My father sat outside and looked upon the name tag usually hang in front of the midwife's house. It says "MAnus-Mandagie". In Manado, the place of my birth, they usually hang the family name of the husband "Manus" and the family name of the wife which is "Mandagie"
Then my father took the first and the last syllable "Magie".Well, that is the story of my name.:-)
