As the question says, what was (and when was) your first experience being involved in some sort of driving accident and/or collision? .. Preferably that you were behind the steering wheel but if you were a passenger that is also exceptable.

For me, I can not remember my first accident where I was the passenger (possibly because I have not actually been in a driving accident). However, after I got my G2 (licence where you can drive by yourself), about a few weeks after I got ditched. I was trying to do a 3-point-turn and ended up in a ditch. There was two other times and all 3 of the times I have been ditched were within 2 months of me receiving my G2 lol. Thank GOD I had a CAA membership! (for a towtruck). The first time I was enroute to a party. The second time I was basically going on a little drive and was thinking about visiting a friend. Those first two times I was all alone. The third time, I was with a friend and she told me to pull over somewhere that was snow covered, so we ended up in the ditch. ATLEAST two (if not three) of the times it looked like snow covered road (but it is very decieving!) How about everybody else??

This I will never forget..it was March 1999, and I was pregnant with my oldest daughter...dropping my mom of at work..and I was going straight down a back street of the hospital that she worked at, and a service/delivery truck was making a left turn and cut me off... I had the right of way, he should have yielded but tried to "beat" me and ended up side swiping me and totaled my car...I just knew my baby was hurt, (5 months pregnant) but she was okay, my blood pressure was sky high and I had to stay in the hospital for like a day for observations. I had a cute little blue Toyota Corrolla, loved that car... MAN I wish I had that now, could fill it up at the time for about 11.00 ( can you believe that) and any hoo... it was totaled the guy was a jerk, got a brand new car and the baby came in June...everything was all good... but if you saw that car (still got the pictures from the pound) you would swore the driver was dead...it was pretty bad..but I was blessed.. thankfully!!!

Wow! That is very unfortunate:/ Im sorry to hear about your car and even more sorry to hear that your baby got hurt. That is a very good thing that your baby was okay and that you both survived the whole ordeal! That guy really is a jerk though and should have been paying more attention or simply should have been a better driver lol, either way.

The first car accident I was in,was when I was in 10th grade I think,me and my friend were in my 1978 Chevy Nova and we were driving along,it was raining, and I lost control of the car,and started to go off the road,I worked it back onto the road just in time to hit the front wheel of a welding truck,it knocked the wheel off the truck, and totally demolished the Nova,I mean the front end looked like a sledge hammer had been taken to it,the frame was so bent,I had to climb out the passenger side, because I could not open my door, later the cop told me how lucky I was,he said that if I had hit it head on me and my friend would have died instantly,or if I had hit it a few inches back, the chemicals in the truck would have exploded, and everything within a five mile radius would have been gone, which included my high school, and everyone at the high school, since school was letting out,I told my friend about it,and he said I should have taken the school out,I told him that would have meant he would be gone too,and he said he did not care as long as the school was gone,I always knew he was crazy.

Holy crap!! That is a crazy story wow! It would seem that you very very lucky to survive. Were you injured what so ever? A single scratch on you? Thats crazy though that you could have been blown up and the school as well! Wow it sounds like your friend is kind of crazy haha and it sounds like he really HATES that school or something lmao, very odd:P

Yeah lol that story should give your kids a scare that is for sure! It also should/probably will teach anyone else who reads your story to be a little more careful out there on the road, etc. Thank you again:)

Yeah maybe my story will teach people to pay more attention to what they are doing, and it will make them realize that driving is a serious responsibility,I have included a picture of the front end of the Nova, that i took with my Polaroid camera, after we finally got it home, and it will show you that I am not exaggerating at all about the wreck, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

Luckily I have no car accident experience during snowing because here in my country all the time summer and sometime it's rain.
It is very dangerous to drive fast during rainy season. Here in my country rate of accident among the highest through out the world.
I don't know, is it because of weather, driver's attitude, always wanted to drive fast. (Timing is GOLD)You know what I meant.
Anyway here are several tips for you to have a look at my website:
