depending on how many times you ask a question in an interested determines your ranking. being that you are only up to 19 post i think you need to build that to at least 500 before you will be ranked.

it may be your interest ranking. in each interest, users have individual rank within so many people who have joined that interest.i will check it here for you and will tell you.

Well,those are interest rankings.Here in what you have said "394 out of 23457",

The 23457 refers to the number of people who have added this interest as their interest.And the 394 represents the user's ranking in that particular interest.Usually,new comers are placed behind.But,however as your reputation increases[when people rate you positive for your responses,your reputation increases],you would gradually move forward.

Greater is your positive rating,greater is your rank.

You can see your interest rankings all by yourself.Just go to your profile page[Just click the link below your avatar,which should be like this

Then click "interest rankings" to see your rankings in different interests.

Also,when ever you post a response to a discussion in a particular interest your interest ranking of that particular interest will be displayed on the side of your name.
