Why, why to murder?

why to murder,is because of so much evil in this world.

I think a part of this is because there are so many sources of media. Bad news travels fast and with all the outlets in the electronic news world we just hear of more stories like this. Way back when it took a couple of weeks for the people to learn who the President was. Now we just push a button or click a mouse and the spectrum of good and bad news is right there in our faces.
I think all of the things you've mentioned have gone on since the beginning of time, we just hear about more of it and we hear about it sooner than we once did.

I can't help thinking that many people have just plain have gotten de-sensitized to any kind of violence, including murder since so much violence is in movies and people are exposed to violence everyday just by turning on the news every night

I don't know how old you are, but I remember when life was free and safe, children respected their elders and the law.Now its all hate, hate every where,its to do with drugs and all sorts, people are so aggresssive all the time. London so bad now. Don't get too scared.

It is very scary lilaclady and am very interested in the reasoning for this man to do what he did! If there is a reason! Even the one closer to home where the man was stabbed and burnt "on a mattress" but seems more of a "gangland" type killing. As I say a lot is that the justice system needs to get a lot tougher with those caught of such crimes. I am waiting on grandchildren one day, but sometimes not so sure whether I wish little ones to be bought into such a bad world as it is today! May sound selfish I my part but it is how I feel.

I agree with you. It's getting absolutely nuts these days, the way people are killing eachother. It's getting downright scary, ad I don't like it. I once preented my neighbour's murder. He and another guy got into a fight over something and the other guy pulled a knife. That was some scary crap.

Yes, it is very sad and scary llady. I too often read about those murders, parents abandoning their children to death and it's all too saddening. Sometimes I ignore or stay away from those kinds of news because I just can't stand the heartache it makes me feel after reading it.
I think the world has become a very tough place to live in, stress and depression is everywhere. Everybody's busy looking for something, they forgot that they have someone.

Every day a new killing, or two, or more. It seems to be the thing to punish the ex wife now by taking the children and killing them. I honestly don't know what's gone wrong. There is so much anger out there. It might be because a lot of the old values have been tossed away. We used to know exactly where we stood, with marriage and family and work. There were certain rules and we tried to keep to them. Now there are no rules and everything is chaos. I agree, this latest case is mind numbing. Why?

I know what you are saying lilaclady, the world seems to have gone crazy.
In this case of the grandfather killing his wife and 2 grandchildren, and also attacking his daughter who is now seriously ill in hospital, we were all asking - why did he do this?
I heard on the news this morning that this man was suffering from Alzheimer's, so I guess he wasn't in full control of his faculties, but it is an explanation. It's so sad.

I really cannot understand why people do these things Lilaclady.
This last one for example.
the grandfather killing his grandchildren with an axe and
almost killing his daughter.
Is it something in the water that is making people do these things.
there have been far too many family killings lately.
