 I got off the phone with my daughter and she said that she has a job starting August 1st. Here's the kicker, she never even interviewed, the just loved her resume and said that they'll be training her to close! What a responsiblity for a new employee huh?
I was so worried that she wouldn't be able to get a job till after she got back from her trip because she wouldn't be available to inverview. I'm so happy for her! She just done GOOD!
So, have you ever been worried about your young'en moving out and not being able to find a job? Were you just sick about it? We really can't afford to carry her so this was a wonderful, wonderful surprise and a load off everyone's shoulders.
Have you felt this way too about your children?

I don't have any kids yet but we have had some major financial problems and my parents have had to help us out, which really sucks because they are having a tough time also. Now I have 2 great writing jobs online plus I have been offered another writing job and am waiting on yet another future employer to get back to me so we will finally be able to support ourselves for now on and help my mom and dad and mother-n-law out in the mean time! Things are starting to look up for us. Also my mom and dad were having really bad car troubles and only had one car, now they have 2 cars and will not have to worry about that anymore!
It feels really good when things start to look better! We have had some really tough times but it finally looks like better times ahead!:)

I dont have any kids yet. But my parents are now worrying about me finding a job.
then I know their worry now.
Sometimes, their worry just pushes me to hard while I'm still studying another major. Though actually I,m capable now to get any job for my degree is enough. but it distract me when they push me a little harder.

I know how tight money is for a college student, but still didn't want to have my parents pay for my education. I worked my tail off those years and I think I'm a stronger person for it. I know my daughter is my child - she's just like me! I don't need to worry, but I do because, as a mom, that's my job. LOL | |

She still works at the same job she's had for 3 years 3 nights a week and a double shift on Saturdays. The jobs at Burger King and they want a person to close the store 6 nights a week. It's perfect because Burger King has college tuition program where you maintain good grades and they reimburse some of your college tuition if you stay with them the years your in school. She’s a good student so this is just perfect for her, plus she’s been working in the food industries for 3 years.

| 6. Angelwhispers (4601) | 4 months ago |  Oh gosh Lj when do I not feel like this? My 2 older sons have families of their own as you know. Worry is my number 2 job when it comes to them. They struggle so hard financially and I worry about if they are eating, if they have gas to go back and forth to work, if they can meet the bankruptcy payments and not lose home and cars... Worry Worry Worry. The thing is Dad and I can help out occasionally but we could never support the entire family if they fail doing so on their own. This was my biggest concern when I did that whole grand mothers rant not long ago. I suppose Lj sometimes we mothers just need to relax and let them run or fall on thier own, but let me tell you that is a very very hard thing for us to do!

I live 3 hours away from my Children, I was sending my Boy Money so that he could live but he is fine now so I do hope it stays this way
