Can anybody care a little bit?

Many people today are too afraid to get involved with anything. I can't understand how someone could stand around and not help a person in need. It's scary to know that someone would rather have you hurt than to take a few minutes of their time or even take a chance. I am 5'1" and I confronted a man 6'3" when he decided to hit his wife in front of me. I could see she was afraid of him, but it made me so angry to see a man treat a woman this way...not to mention....IN PUBLIC that I think I ended up scaring him...lol. I told him off and let him know that he would HAVE to kick my butt before I let him touch her like that again. The man could have KILLED me. But, I was not about to back down.

I'm sorry you had to experience something like that magie, that must be horrible. People can be so ignorant sometimes.
I once got on this bus, I was 7 - 8 months pregnant and nobody even stand up to give me a seat, thankfully there was a security on the bus and he asked a man to give me his seat. I mean, my belly was huge at that time, you can't miss that I was pregnant, they just pretend that they don't see me. Ugh, what is wrong with people these days?

good day. I never been presented with a scenario like yours. To be honest, I mean I naturally avoid things or situations that usually spells trouble but when someone ask me for help like you did that's a different situation I don't want to carry the guilt of not trying to help you and so I will.

Being a woman myself, I can fully understand and relate to your predicament but I can understand the psychology of the bystanders too. See, people who move around on motorcycles grabbing at young ladies are nothing more than ruffians who more often than not, carry knives and guns. There was a similar incident in front of my eyes and my hubby, who was with me, wanted to go and help. One part of me (the woman) wanted him to go, the other part (the wife) was scared for his safety. The wife won the day and I pulled his arm…luckily, some patrol cars were zooming by and people were generally gathering so the men just went away.
The world is so unsafe these days darling that we women have to take care of ourselves. Each city has certain areas which are more unsafe than others…do not move around such areas alone or if you are new. Even if you have to, keep something like pepper sprays or click knives which can be easily concealed in your handbag.

now i get understand why USA allow people buy gun and use gun .

I feel that you should stop walking out at night alone. Atleast you should have someone's company or try to avoid walking alone all together. This world has become so mean and nobody cares if someone is harmed in public. There are really very few people who come forward to help. Don't take anymore risk with your life. Anything can happen. Just go in a group or avoid going. Take a cab or do something to avoid such situations. Take care..

a lot of especially street vendors would like to stay perfectly out of any trouble that would affect their bussiness. not that i don't care about what happened to you but i just stated the fact why they only ignored what was happening to you. i feel sorry and not to mention alarmed bout incidents like that happening in streets with bystanders just staring and pretending that nothing's happening. as a soon to be mom and not to mention my kid is a girl i guess i have to stick to what my grandparents say and do which is stay inside the house when it gets dark and if you can't avoid it have somebody who can accompany you. roaming the streets at night now a days IS NOT SAFE for any individual especially for us girls

Thank God you are safe now and no harm came to you. We are now living in the last days where people will be self centred and care only about themselves. They are passive onlookers and they will behave just like they are watching television. You need to carry a pepper spray with you at all times and avoid walking at night. Crimes can take place at anytime, so be alert always. Do not depend on others to help me, learnt to defend yourself. Take good care of yourself.

People don't like to get involved especially when we are talking about violent situation. Maybe you shouldn't make a big deal out of it. First you said you screamed and then you said you cried and then you said almost cried???
so you did or you didn't??? you know mylot don't pay per word, if it's short and to the point you get 0.01 Cent and if long and messy still you get 0.01 Cent.
