Do you put items back on shelf when shopping??

LOL! No I do not put things back on the shelf or hang my clothes back up. Although I feel more guilty about leaving the clothes behind.

I used to work in retail for years so I try my best not to do this. If I change my mind about getting a certain item & I am not sure where it goes I will just hand it to the cashier at the checkout & simply tell her I've changed my mind. When trying on clothes if something doesn';t fit right or I don't like the way it looks I return it from where I got it. If I can't remember where I got the clothes from then I hand it to the lady at the fitting room & leave it with her.

No thats something Im really paranoid about.
A lot of people just put stuff back on the nearest shelf, I have to go all the way back and return it. Also clothes go back on the hanger just the way I found them!

i personally dont put things back as they get payed for doing it not me

my mother got shouted at once for not putting somthing back in the right deparment

i think thats wrong because think about it if you put it in a different place and someone sees it

then they might bye it but if they didnt now where it was or if it was there

they wouldnt

If a fitting room has a rack outside the door that they want you to place the items on, I do that, but otherwise will bring them back to where I found them.

I always put items back where they belong in a grocery store. It doesn't happen often that I change my mind about something, but if I do, I'm decent enough to do the bit of work myself instead of having someone else do it for me.

I've worked retail where I had to 'clean up' shelves at the end of the day. It's not fun!

I try to put things back as best as I can to the way I found them or will sometimes just hand them to the employess if it is too much of a hassle.

I always leave things hanging on the rack outside the fitting room... where i shop they have a rack specifically for this reason.

And I admittedly will put things back on the shelf, mainly because I am trying to hide the fact that I put it back from my son lol

I always put the item back at the grocery store especially if it is frozen or refrigerated. If I didn't put them back then the food would go bad and I think that would help to bring the prices of groceries up even more.

Now when I am at a clothing store I never leave the items in the dressing room. I just think that is rude. I always hang them up on the rack outside the dressing room. I know i don't like to come into a dressing room and see all the stuff other people tried on all over the place. One time I went in one of those rooms and there was no place to hang what I wanted to try on or put my purse. The whole seating area was covered in clothing too. It was so tacky looking. Imagine if everyone would just hang their stuff they didn't want on that rack it would not ever look like that.

I always try to remember the employees that have to work at the store and do not purposely make their job more difficult.
