Do you just read and delete text messges or save them for ever?

hi, if I recieved a text messages from friends and loveones, i just read it thn delete it, i dont want my inbox have a lot of read messages, and deleting your messages from inbox makes your celpone runs fast. thanks

yes i do receive smses from my friends. i'd say it's one of the basic mode of communication. we are so caught up with our lives that it's almost impossible to chat over the phone. we'd plan meet ups using sms. we communicate news through sms as well.

i don't think i can save every single message i've ever received. doing so would require an external HDD. lol;o

I read and delete most of my texts. Though sometimes I keep some forever if they are particularly brilliant. I have right now around 10 saved texts because they are funny or bring back great memories.

My inbox storage space is small..So i usually read them and delete them if they are irrelevant..But if they are from my loved ones,friends i usually save them for reading them and forwarding them to other friends and so... I like humour a lot and i often save the sms containing jokes or sms containing beautiful quotes which can be useful in the future...

I get emails & text messages from friends & loved ones as well as work... I have my phone set to automatically delete the ones I don't save after 15 days so I don't have to really think about it... I do have back up emails, not sms(text messages), on my computer's outlook express... I go through them once every 2 month or so & sort them out...

I normally saved SMS that are worth saving like inspirational quotes about life and of course heart-warming messages about friends and from my hubby.

Others I just read them and delete it. Sometimes I replied to the SMS.

It depends who they're from. If its friends I usually reply and delete straight away but I'm likely to hold onto the ones my sons send unless they are just brief 4 or 5 replies.

I keep all my text messages in my inbox until I start to get a warning that my inbox is getting full. Then I delete them all out. If a message has important information I need (like a phone number, or the date and time of a meeting/party/etc.) then I save the message until I no longer need it. Then I delete it. I never permanently save any of my messages.

i don't save txt messages on my cellphone, when i finish reading it i delete it directly
