Do you purchase tv series?

I have a friend who collects box sets of the TV shows, they have so many, I think I would only want "some Mothers Do Have Em" I loved that show and could watch it over and over again...

well, i would say i never purchased TV series.
i hate the commercial ads on TV, especially when there is a good TV series. so, when i found an interesting TV series, i would rather rent one from the disc store. and enjoy it by myself without anything interrupted. sometimes i even watched the most interesting parts for two or three times before i return them to the disc store.

We do purchase some of the TV series, and I really like to do that. It's really nice to watch the shows without commercials and watch as much as you want, when you want to watch it.

Until this year, we always waited until the series came out of DVD for the show "Lost". And when we would get it we would have a Lost weekend. But this year, we just couldn't wait until the season was over and it came out in DVD, so we watched it each week as it came on. And wouldn't you know, they had the writers strike so we waited and waited for the new shows to come on.

We bought eight seasons of Dallas, and are waiting for the nineth season which comes out this month. And there are a few more we have bought.
