Have you ever been late for work/school?

I have, but it's usually been due to situations out of my control. For example, on my way to work there would be an accident blocking up the road, and thus slowing down traffic a ridiculous amount. See, I usually leave for work/school a half hour before I should be there... and it usually takes 10 minutes tops to drive there. Thankfully it only happens a couple of times a year at most, but it's still happened.

Okay usually I am around 15-30 minutes late every morning....but last week I was late by almost 2 hours by accident. It is so funny now, but I was so frustrated.

The day before I kept telling everyone I am off tomorrow...well I decided to sleep in the next day and sure enough my phone started ringing. I saw it was my work and looked at the clock 7:20 so I was like somone called in and they are calling me to see if I will work. Well, it was my nurse wanting to know where I was. I told her I am off today and she was like no you're not. I grabbe dmy schedule and told her I'd be in ASAP. I looked at my schedule again and the funny thing was I htought I had mixed up my weeks but I was not off on any tuesday this schedule...

How crazy is that?

I've been late to school quiet a few times never really a big issue teaches just mark you tardy and nothing happens. I have been late to work by as much as a half hour and it was basically the same deal my employer recognized me as late and nothing happened as it was the first time I was late. I hate being late for things and generally try to avoid it even though I have had little experience with having consequences to my tardiness.

I've been late for school about a couple of times, since the buildings where classes are held are very far from each other. In work not yet since we follow flexible time here.

hmmm,wany back when i was still studying i remember there was a time that i came late and the were discussing lots of things at that time.,i missed alot of topics and i just copied my classmate's notes.,i told myself then that i will never ever late again.,just like now that im working in a top corporation i don't even make myself late.,i always come on time.,and that is a good thing.i've learned so much from that.,Ü

Roughly, two months ago it was pouring cats and dogs here. And the job I was working with at the time was about 30 miles away. The tollway was backed up and there were about 4 wrecks between my job and where I lived. It took me 2 hours to get to work. It was thundering and lightening, and the rain was coming down like it was the end of the world. I just knew for sure I was fired. I called into work and my boss who was calm, cool and collected told me to relax take it easy and we will see you when you get here. I was pleasantly surprised as well as grateful.

I try my very best never to be late for work... but there were a few times when my internal clock failed to wake me up early... so i became late... but nowadays... since there is no specific time that i have to be in the office... i can never be late... this is one thing that i love about my job...

I did! hahaha I was almost 4 hours late in my work..that was because of a very very very heavy traffic and there were no more ride to take me to the company i am working..it was very late then and the shuttle that suppose to carry me to the company were all having their rest and it was a very lean hour so i have called to the company to pick me up but the service was unavailable and they said that i just have to watch out for it 'coz it was also out that time and it will be returning soon..haaayz i was very shy then because i was really late..good thing nothing had happened while I haven't arrived yet.

Wow that's unbelievable, you're never late! Does that also apply for meetings and hanging out with your friends as well? If so, I would love to be your friend in real life because 90% of my friends are usually late for meeting up and stuff.

Yes, I've been late to school and work.

The reason to why I'm late for school is because I slept in.

The reason to why I'm late to uni is because the public transport sucks with buses crashing down to the rail track, people trying to suicide on some bridge stuffing up the whole of the rail network. Also, at certain time of the year especially the first week and last week of semester people will decide to come uni therefore the very very long bus queue.

The reason why I'm late to work is because on the weekend the trains are mostly late by 8 -15 mins. And then i need to change trains, then need to wait for my bf to pick me up and drop me off work.

These days, I just expect for the worst and get out of the house 1.5hrs before work start. As I came to realise, way too many unexpected things can happen.
