Why aren't the ABC showing previews of the next day's show?

I noticed that this week too. No previews. I wasn't to anxious about them anyway, but kind of fun to see them. There is a "commercial" about 15 seconds about the next soap coming up (this is on ABC) on the one that is on but that is it. Don't know why - thing is...I'd like to see more show instead of more previews!

Yes I noticed that too. In fact I noticed that they were doing preview for another soap at the time they would normally do GH's. I too DVR and know that 57 to 58 is when the previews come on. I even reset my setting so that they would record for a few minutes past GH to see if maybe they were showing them later. NOPE! Not there either. First they cut off 2 to 3 minutes a show now no scens for the next episode!!! ITS CRAP!!

I noticed that too. I usually record the shows and watch them when everyone else go to bed. I thought I just fast fowarded past them, so I watched closely and they're gone. I sort of enjoyed the teasers, and I miss them now that they're gone. It really doesn't matter, they know I'll be back, so I guess I don't need them.

I have noticed the same thing. It is difficult when fast forwarding to know where I am without the coming attractions. I like to see what is going to happen next. Especially on Fridays! I want my previews back. It's not like they made the shows a smidge longer either. It just has an extra commercial at the end. How rude!:)

Sorry this is sort of late but, I wanted to chime in as I noticed it too and, it is still going on. And, as I see others have said, they do play a preview. Just not the preview for the show you are watching. After GH, which is the only show I watch, I think they play a preview for One Life to Live. I don't care about that show. I want to see what to expect on GH, not what to expect on a show I don't even watch. And, this has been going on for more than a month now. They really aught to rethink their choices. I don't know if they are just trying to garner interest in the other shows from the other shows audiences so they can boost ratings. Maybe they think that they can get the GH watchers to watch One Life to Live, the One Life to Live watchers to watch All My Children and the All My Children watchters to watch GH by airing those other previews after the other shows. I can tell you that it hasn't worked on me and, in fact, it has only irritated me so, it hasn't helped them and has only hurt them in my eyes.

i hadn't noticed that i don't watch much tv during the daytime as i'm usually out & about. that is strange tho bc they usaully do those previews to keep ppl in suspense lol.
