Ever worked with a colleague a lot older or younger than you are?

I have worked with both older and younger. My current employment is with younger people. If they are really motivated to do the job and do it right, young people are terrific, they have new thoughts and more energy. On the other hand if they are thinking that life owes them already, they are lazy pains in the backside. Older people bring with them the history of work, and experience. Sometimes,however, they are tired and worn out and are beginning to think that the younger people should carry the main work load. Sometimes my preference is just to work independently.

Ever since, I was able to work with younger or older officemates. It is hard to find an office where all the employees are of the same age. There are good eperiences and there are bad experiencs. I guess, the most important is that you learn from it.

I supervise 4 cashiers who are all older than me and we get along rather well. I would prefer to work with colleagues that are older than me because they are more responsible.

crisesan I am a bit predjuiciced as I am one of the older
ones, but I worked with people in their thirtys, forty and sixtys and they all did a great job but then they were all
libararians in one guise or another and librarians are more dedicated than most in their jobs lol. I prefer to work with anyone over thirty myself as the kids that worked in the library were lazy, opinated and rude mostly and not prone to caring how good a job they did.
