When you find a little hair in your meal

I agree with your opinion. I don't think shouting to the people who prepared the food.It is a good tendency to show patience.No body purposely putting the hair in the food. Civilized people can't behave harshly.

i srongly recommend to charge at the person who has served you this type of food and complaint to higher authorities and take a penalty if possible and do mind you if you adjust then you will never get anything thats worth your money as it is said that if you do like this by adjusting indirectly you are not giving any value for your hard earned money.

If I was having a meal and I found a hair in it,I would simply pull the hair out,and continue eating the meal as if nothing had happened,because a hair in a meal is no big deal in my opinion,and I do not see how some people can go crazy,and start shouting and cussing at the one who prepared the meal,all because of a simple hair.

snakequeen sorry but I disagree wholeheartedly. a hair in my food would make me pretty leary about eating it, as I do not
know what is on that hair, what germs, what virus yuck. I would call the waitress, show her the hair and ask for a new hairless plateof food. I did not spend good money to have to eat something that has been contaminated by someone else. I think a lot of other people would agree with me.

I think that I would do exactly as you: pick the chunk of food out that has the hair in it, and then resume eating. I could just not see wasting food for that reason. At least it is not spit in the food. Hair sometimes falls into food. It happens. I think that it is a bit immature to throw it away for that reason. Also, it is inconsiderate.

Argh! Disgusting, well such a thing rarely happens and even if it do happens I just separate a small part surrounding the hair from the meal and carry on with the rest.

I would send the meal back. Then I would ask for my money back and never eat at that place again. Finding a hair in my meal is disgustion.

We have a lot of experiences for this one in my company. Yet, we don't have choice but to take off the hair and eat the food.
We then provide feedback to the owner of the canteen and they have provided a hair net to their employees all the time, that way having hair in the foods was eliminated.
This is also happening in our home, we sometimes found a piece of hair from our cooked foods. I guess a piece of hair could not cause any damage to human when you eat the food. However, having some insects like fly on the foods will cause damage or illness. So when there is fly in my food, I did not eat the food.

To be honest, I cant be bothered to put up a fuss. Im not a big fan of confrontation so I wouldnt be good in that sort of position. I think Id just carry on with it, unless it was really really gross or there was alot of it.

In a restaurant, I wouldn't be able to eat it. But at home, it's my hair, so it's not a big issue, I know my hair is clean. My husband gets annoyed but that's too bad, I put my hair in a ponytail to cook and still a stay hair will escape, what else can I do? He has to get over it or learn to cook for himself. He won't have the hair problem since he's bald, LOL
