grrrr --- sulpicio lines |
|
is it just a coincidence that 4 of their ships sank over the years and they are still operating? it just sucks, it happens all the time and the Philippine government doesn't learn a lesson. many lives have been destroyed, and justice is still not served? the worst maritime disaster in peace time is dona paz sinking, also owned by the sulpicio lines. not to mention the chemicals loaded in the princess of the stars, no body wants to eat fish now, what will happen to our poor fishermen in the Philippines? and the low quality and even useless life jackets? if the government had taken action on this so many years ago during dona paz, sulpicio lines wouldn't operating right now and princess of the stars might not have sunk and destroyed lives of the passengers of the ship and altered the lives of the people living near it. i know "di naman nila sinadya" or in english no body wanted it to happen, but if they were responsible enough and not greedy, if they thought of the safety of the people and not money maybe this wouldn't have happened. their own crew said that they don't have enough training for this incidents. sulpicio lines shouldn't operate anymore, i can't bear to see another ship sinking, THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS IN THE PHILIPPINES, what a shame.

1. lyzabelle (1052) | 3 months ago | Bite me! I think Sulpicio Lines have to shipt to other kind of business...maybe restaurant...Many dies...maybe we just don't have to blame them all what happend in the tragedy. My best advice is if signal #1 detected no ship will be allowed to sail...to avoid accident.

1337speak (138) | 3 months ago | Too cautious... I believe that's not too friendly to the economy. It's better if the government establish protocols in case of typhoon if there isn't already one. No, I really think there isn't because I can't see the system operating. Furthermore, not merely establish but also implement the protocols strictly.

2. everlasting (9226) | 3 months ago | As one airline company said, if this happened to an airline, they are already closed for business. The gall of Sulpicio Lines to file a case against the PAGASA when only forecasts were released by them. It is called forecast because storms have a mind of its own and it is so hard to predict where they will go. They do not want other lawyers to see how they are treating the victim's relatives because they are so clever. they let the victims' relatives sign a SPA (special power of attorney) to handle and release their 200,000 payment! i wish all the families of the ones who are doing this will be the ones who will sink in the bottom of Philippines Deep!

| soheavenlyme (80) | 3 months ago | it's like when they get paid 200,000 it's ok it's like the case is over and their relatives don't matter anymore. it's like sulpicio paid the lives of the victims. like one of the victim's relative on tv, he used to be so in to it, looking for the body of his relative but when he got paid it's like, it's ok for him.

hindichinese (462) | 2 months ago | Sulpicio has the very bad image. They encountered many incidents in just 20 years i think. That fertilizer should be shipped through a cargo ship not a passenger ship. Now when can they get the bodies inside the dead ship? and 200,000 pesos is cheap for a 1 life killed.
