Is distance a big problem for lovers?  |

 My boy friend and I have known each other for about 4 years.We love each other very much.But he is a sailor,so he doesn't have enough time to stay with me.I have more leisure time than him,so when I miss him a lot,i will go to the port to see him.you know,we can't see each other as ofter as other lovers. when I have some problems and he isn't around me i just can't be so happy.sometimes i just i want somebody to sit beside me and listen to me,but he can't.Do you lovers have the same problem about distance.how do you solve it?

We are use to spending every day together and talking for hours on end when we had to be apart. Now I can't talk to him so much and only get to spend time with him every once in a while. The worse part is not getting to talk to him. We would talk everynight and morning. I felt like it was going to weaken our bond.
To keep it strong, I write to him every day, all day. Well, sporadically. I keep a journal with me and write to him all the things that we would normally talk about. He writes to me too. Our bond is just as strong as ever. Now when I get his letters I'm pleased to see that we are often thinking about the same things. Our letters help fill the void.
Hope this helps. It is important that you both communicate. Communicate about everything, even the stupidest little things. To keep the bond you both have to feel actively involved in each others lives. Good luck.
