1. jasbir_pro (156) | 4 months ago | I don't study now but when used to study then I used to listen to music. It always kept me fresh and it is of great help. Even when I studied some theoritical subject like sociology the music in background made me feel much better even though i wasn't consciously listening.

4. indianpedi (1163) | 4 months ago | I like to write articles. It depends on what I'm writing about, whether I'd like listening to music.. If it is something routine, I like to put on a 'dhun' (that's Indian religious music; it is repetitive and can be haunting). If I'm writing something serious, I prefer quiet, with no music. If I'm trying to be be creative, like for instance, writing a new article for one of my blogs, I prefer light jazz music. But mostly, I don't like LOUD music. I just can't tolerate it!

7. doubloonie (300) | 4 months ago | When I study I always have to listen to music at a low volume. I find that it helps me concentrate more with some white noise in the background. I will usually listen to slower beat songs. I also find that if I need to take a mental break, then I can just sit/lie back and just listen to a song or two before getting back to the grind. I can't study in complete silence. For example, studying in libraries just puts me to sleep. But to each their own. Everybody is different and brains function in different ways.
