Partially, but it falls on the LIBERAL legislators who have continually blocked increasing refining capacity, searching for new resources, AND blocking nuclear energy development. Otherwise, "blame" goes to OPEC and the commodities speculators, too... just as equally!

| | | 2. yrayne (68) | 4 months ago | here in the Philippines, I believe its the govenrment. They have all the power to subsidized the prices of goods and commodities. During the reign of Pres. Marcos, life of Filipinos went well because he was able to make orders and laws regarding the prices. He's not totally bad. He's done very good things for our country. It was only when his term was about to end that he made drastic decisions but I still think he's the best president my country could ever have. Today, life of Filipinos are very bad. Many crimes are now arising. People start to do unusual things just to survive. Sometimes, we can't blame those who are committing hold up or kidnap or carnap because they need this for survival. However, I don't say that I agree with these people. I'm just citing some reasons why they turn to do evil.
