which one you reminded better avatar or names?

I definitely remember pictures here on myLot better than I do names- at least so far. There are some very distinctive avatars that have caught my attention repeatedly in the last several days since I've joined here.

Sometimes I notice the avatas more sometimes I notice the names more it really just depends on what it is. I think there are alot of really cute names an cute avatars also.
It just depneds on what you notice first I guess.

Because of my lousy eyesight, I tend to remember a name I've read better than I remember an avatar that have seen.

Everyone's avatar is imprinted in my brain, lol. Usually I see the avatar first and I'm like 'oh I know who that is'. I think it's just easier, but I'm not really thinking about it until I see one. However, if I really like someone's user name then that will most likely stick.

Avatars stick in my mind.
But I do recognize my close
friends by their username.

And they recognize me.

So that's good.
Sometimes a close friend will
change their avatar and I'll miss
them and walk right by their discussion
if I'm only looking at their avatar.

But most times, I back up and respond
to the discussion after a few minutes
thought on the matter!

I am afraid to change my avatar
cause noone would recognize me
or respond to my discussions.

For me it's both, names and avatar. There were friends on my friends list that I can remember by their avatar. And there were friends whom I remember by their name. Like you, even if you had changed your avatar, I still remember your name. But most that I remember by names are those whom I regularly respond and those who regularly contributes on my discussions. Mainly it's the names that stick in my head with the avatar only helping me remember the names of newer friends till I become more familar with them.

the picture reminds me more than the name

I remember the avatar pic more. Though once ive talked to someone enough I reconize that, specially when I get the update thing in my email.

both the names and the avatars, because some tend to change their
avatars so you must also look at the names too.
