wow. i was gonna join that site some time ago but i decided that i didnt have the time. its really unfortunate that this happened to you. it seems more like a way of getting out of paying people to me... i may be wrong and i am subject to correction but if someone hacked into the site wat would they get out of removing money from someone's account? wouldn't they just focus on putting money in their own account instead? but this is just my opinion

This does sound unfair for sure. I know in my site that we spend a lot of time making backups of data, fortunately this is easy to do and we do it twice a day and store the information away from our webserver.

We have a whole array of backups but that is not helping you.

This used to float around on the internet about 12-18 months ago in the PTC forums about how to detect sites that were having problems in paying. The reasons given for late payments were: first there was the Admin people being away, second illness, among others were PayPal being hacked, website being hacked, dispute with webhost and data lost. mySQL Database crash and data lost, corrupted backups.

If websites can't get these basic things right makes you wonder about other parts of the program and how it is managed. Although these may be legitimate reasons, I know I send emails to our members saying that I am going to be away from my Admin duties.

One thing is the ads should be back and available again.

After I read your post I went to foxcash. I lost more than $5 there.
I have been promoting today a matrix where you have to pay $1. Most people answered that it was one dollar lost. I think this is much worse. It´s not only the money, it´s the time I spent clicking.

Foxcash is really unfair, how come that a hacker was able to delete those information. They just don't want to pay us.

I had 17 referrals before the hack and i lost 16 from that.
I am very angery to lose all those. I also lost $10 which would have been my first payout.
Foxcash have been paying for many and suddenly a damn hacker came and destroyed every thing.
You may get your money if you had a screenshot of your earlier earnings in foxcash.
I don't have any screenshot.

Hello rastmangp. You are not the only one with this problem. It's happened to 50,000 members, or about half of the members that joined recently. I lost about $25 and 30 referrals.

According to the forum posts at FoxCash, you can have your account balance restored IF you have a screenshot and post it in the forum. Admin and the staff are having to manually reset the data from these proof screenshots. I posted mine a few days ago but it'll take time since there are so many accounts to fix. Had they made backups more frequently, it wouldn't have been so bad, but I think they have learned backups are an important part of maintaining their database.

If you didn't have a screenshot AND you have to re-register you will have to start over in order to start earning again but they have increased the number of daily links to help members get to the minimum a little faster.

If you don't know how to do screenshots, you might want to take a look at my most recent blog entry ( http://beam.to/MyBlog ), specifically the FoxCash Alert post. There I have provided easy to follow instructions for capturing screenshots. FoxCash isn't the only site that this has happened to, so I recommend taking screenshots at ANY "make money" sites you participate in if you want to protect your earnings from database losses like this.

Well I'm also a member of FoxCash before and I belong on those who are deleted in their record. I'm so DISAPPOINTED because I almost reach their payout and I've got referrals also and all of a sudden its gone. I will not signup again at Foxcash for the reason that it may happen again. Theres a lot of PTC site over the internet and I will not waste my time and effort for FoxCash again!
