Which is the best Free Anti Virus Software? Do You have any Advice?

free hhm if you wanna pay I'm sure you can take norton but free i don'y know free antivirus programms aren't realy good

i am using trand marco but i feel symantic is better one as it is easy to use as well as remove most of the adware spyware and other viruses 2nd thing if you have coporate version it work years, and symantic product also the same as norton but norton take lots of CPU uses and make little slow to your pc so i feel symantic is better one to use

Hi..The best free antivirus so far is Free AVG and Avira Antivirus..But the best antivirus these days so far is Kaspersky and it costs money.You can use the trial version of it only for 1 month.It detects the newest trojans and other antivirus,malwares,spams etc. which free antivirus and other antivirus out there cant detect..

i usually use NORTON ANTI VIRUS.but i've got problem right now. i use win xp sp2 but conflict with norton anti virus. i'm a little bit a confused now.

Like said before, Norton is good, with updates happening often, it's agood way. You should also get a firewall.

Other than that, you can get something for free, from Hotmail or Yahoo's toolbars. Though you definitely get what you pay for.

The best free Anti virus software I used to run in my machine in AVG but the free version had certain limitations. So, I could not continue to use it.

well friend i belive, antivirus and antispyware cannot help you alone of not getting virus you need a good firewall because 98% most of virus and spyware get termenated at firewall end.

For antivirus download avira its best + free + very light
For antispyware download adware 2008 it is one of best

yea you have to download 3 programs but they worth downloading and all of them very light on resources and act like a security suite

or you can buy security suite like kaspersky norton ..etc
