Do you still keep your old clothes even you don't wear them again?

Most often a lady of near by orphanage comes to our home and we give our old clothes that we don't wear. If there is any torn clothes we do not give it we use if for other purposes in our house. other there was one poor women she also used to ask for old clothes for her childern, we used to give them also. May we give some money during some special occasions.

yeah, i still keep those clothes that i don't already want to wear. i keep it in a drawer and give to my relatives in the province when someone of them come here or whenever we go there for a vacation. we must not just trash those things that we already don't want and we must recycle them because a lot of less fortunate people still need them...

I keep them till I know I will not use them and then give it away to charity organisations, poorer people, to orphanages, some workers I know who will continue to enjoy it!

i do have quite a few pieces of clothes that i'll never wear again. there are days when i'll pack them and decide to throw away. but i'll unpack again and hang them all back into my wardrobe. i've also packed them, thinking i'll give them away. they still end up back in my wardrobe.

i finally bit the bullet and gave a bag away today though. i knew i'll never wear them again and thought i'd benefit someone else. i've packed another bag and intend to give it away soon. hopefully my resolve will stay till then.;p

No, haha I susally give it away to people who need it more then I do. after me losen 98 pounds I use to be size 42 now i'm size 28 in men It's not easy for me to fins pant size when I was size 42, but still not so easy to fins pant sizes when i'm seze 28 i guess they don't have that many men that small.^_^ hhaha. Or not you can sell your cloths on e-bay you might make some money off there with your cloths i never though of that but just right now it pop inside my head.. haha. I don't have that habit. I still keep a few things that are too big for me. pants size 34 and some shirts but i gave my cousin some. I don't think it's much a of a habit, i'm not saying it's not though it could be. I havea problem keeping stupid crap like littel papers letters that are no good of use. There jus tthere for space. I still think you should sell the clohts you want on e-bay and make money and buy new cloths with that. If not what ever you want do with the money take care and have a nice day and keep on posting. the more the bette haha

I'm not a clothes horse, so my "wardrobe" isn't that big to begin with. If I do have things that no longer fit or I'm tired of them I donate them into those Salvation Army boxes that are all over the place. I only donate things that are wearable. I think alot of clothes that are kept beyond their use get dry rotted eventually, imagine putting something on, sitting in it and the seat just falls away from the body?

I do give them away if I do not feel like wearing them anymore or they seem too small or big for me. I do have a sister who had been the recipient of the clothes that I no longer wear. Well, she's lucky for that. But there are times that I give them to my cousins or anyone else who wants it among my relatives.

When I was in college, we often have outreach program where we donate clothes and other stuff to the less fortunate.

I would not throw them away, sometimes those really old ones that do not seem "wearable" at all, they can be used for rags.

I have a few things in my closet i dont wear anymore, mainly cuz they dont fit right anymore..i dont get rid of them cuz of they were faves of mine, well never know when i will be able to wear them again. However if its out of style, it does get removed.

I used to keep my old clothes even when I dont wear them anymore. However, when I moved to vietnam after living 7 years in Dubai I had 400kg of clothes and it took me 3 months to clear it in the customs. I stayed in Vietnam for a year and since then I have a very nomadic life and I move from place to place since 2005. So, my old clothes I dont keep anymore but it is in my parents house -:) they keep it for me.... while I keep shopping for a new ones and dump the old ones in their place every year when I come visit...hehehe

If I have things that are damaged I will just throw them away, Something that is old or I have gotten tired of I always donate to this charity that runs through my church. It started out sending them to the katrina victims, I don't imagine they still do that, but am not sure at the moment where they go to now.
