Should i Install Windows Vista or Not..

I always used XP and heard many bad things about Vista. Now this laptop is Vista and I have no problems with it. So you should try it.

I am using windows vista home basic and comparatively at the initial times I do had bet hesitation later I got used to it and found much better, also no much problems in speed too.

I have vista and i am not a fan of it, it may look nice but it eats alot of ram up and has a few glitches. for instance, i have a netgear wireless adaptor that is not compatible with vista, its program does not work even when i use compatibility mode, but the adaptor works fine, only problem is every 60 seconds there is a 3-5 second lag. due to the fact that vista trys to search for a new network. its your choice, but i would wait for the next sp comes out.

Dear, don't go for Vista. XP is the best.

i too have heard a lot of complaints about vista.i've been using xp and in my opinion its the best operating system.its is i think more dependable than vista.don't insstall it right now.wait for more responses.

Your system has enough RAM to capably run Vista. A lot of the bugs people complain about Vista has already been addressed by Service Pack 1. Remember that before Windows XP Service Pack 2, xp was not that good either. You should also take note of the fact that after Microsoft officially retired windows xp last June 30, there will come a time when new softwares will no longer be compatible with XP - if Microsoft will no longer support xp, other software companies will eventually stop making softwares for xp and instead create programs for Vista. So either way, you would have to eventually shift to Vista anyway. I am multibooting on Linux, XP and Vista - because I know that one day I will have to abandon using xp too, the same way that I stopped using windows ME before. Operating systems evolve.

Vista is a beautifully made operating system.. the graphics are cool and the system showed no problems so far.. it's smooth and easy.. the only problem though is that it takes a huge memory to operate nicely.. or else you'll end up having low quality animations and graphics.. so watch your computer's abilities and then choose what's best for it!

I think windows vista is for laptop only, it is not advisable to use it on your desktop! for me I prefer to use windows Xp still, the things i do not like from Vista are;
Too slow
It does not support some Hardware/ peripherals

Vista is worthless, tons of stuff is incompatible with it and installing it just so it can look nice is a waste of time.

My new laptop is come with vista installed,but i hate vista,its only a bloody theme which eats alot of ram and processor power and even battery life,unecessory services always pre run in background like derfragment and many other stuff
